Tip the club out in order to get the momentum of the club working for you. If you are late, you will have to force the club to catch up. This is avoidable by tipping the club through shoulder rotation.
Your swing arc should be smooth and continuous. At no point should you interrupt the momentum in order to re-route. Momentum helps your body work more efficiently.
Once you have your elbow working correctly, add a shoulder lift. This is the second part to building a solid shoulder rotation.
When you understand how the body is designed to move, proper shoulder rotation becomes easy. This is why and how we hinge the wrist.
