  • MORE IN YOUR FINGERS

It's important to make sure the club is more in your fingers. Rest the club on your shoulder and concentrate on feeling this in your fingers before you swing.

  • FIND YOUR SWING WITH A BASEBALL BAT

Practice swinging with a baseball bat. The way the bat stands up, levels out, and the timing of how you change directions is very similar to a golf swing.

  • DOT ON THE FACE

Draw a dot on the center of your clubface. Concentrate on putting that dot on the back of the ball, and you'll make great shots.

  • IMPACT AND FOLLOW THROUGH

To get great results on the golf course, focus on impact and follow-through, not your backswing.

  • FIND YOUR TEMPO

Be consistent with your tempo. Make a swing with your favorite iron, find your tempo, and then use the same with your driver.

  • CONTROL TRAJECTORY

To control trajectory, practice using a sand wedge to hit a low shot followed by a high shot. Play around and experience this same drill with other clubs.

  • RIGHT FOOT BACK DRILL

If you are having trouble getting your hips out of the way and swinging over the top, this drill will help. Practice using different clubs.

  • SPLIT GRIP DRILL

The Split Grip Drill is excellent to practice if you struggle with the Lever System. Working on this will help with distance and control.

  • HOW NOT TO AIM RIGHT

Using alignment sticks to make a quadrant to set up will help you hit the ball straight and not aim to the right.

  • LOOSENING UP YOUR WRISTS

To loosen your hands and wrists, twirl or swing the club. This movement will help reduce tension.

  • RELIEVING TENSION

Placing the club on your shoulder and swinging it back and forth to the other shoulder helps take the tension out of your swing.

  • STRIPE THE DRIVER

A great way to hit your driver well is to drop your right foot back which allows you to open your hips.

  • HALF SWING WITH FACE CONTROL

Making half swings on the driving range before you play is a great way to practice clubface control and control of where the ball is going.

  • EXERCISES BEFORE YOU GO TO THE TEE

It is important to stretch and loosen up your body before you play.

  • CHIPPING

The secret to chipping is actually your putting stroke.

  • THE FACE TO FIX THE SHOT

If you slice the ball with your driver, then close the clubface to get the ball straight.

  • CLUB SELECTION IN COLD WEATHER

In cold weather take one more club and hit it solid.

  • LONGER AND SLOWER IN COLDER WEATHER

  • PLAYING FROM YOUR LEAD LEG

When you play from your lead leg, there shouldn't be any force transfer in your short shots.

  • DRIVER WITH FEET TOGETHER

Driving with your feet together is a great drill to help your body rotate, keep from moving too much, and stay centered.

  • HOW TO SET UP CORRECTLY

Grip the club correctly by holding the club above your hands and letting the weight of the club fall and lock into position. This will help with setup.
