For this Quick Fix Friday, we look at using the brim of your golf cap to help with alignment. Flatten the brim of your cap and bring it down over your eyebrows. Looking at the line on the golf ball, get the brim of your hat parallel with the line on the golf ball.
When you swing, the object is to keep the brim parallel to the line. If you want to hook and swing from the inside, turn your brim a little to the right. You want to keep the brim in the same line until after you have hit the ball.
This is one of the best ways to control your path. Remember, your club goes where your eye line goes.
Adjust your grip to make the ball curve differently by setting the clubface more closed if you tend to slice the ball.
Get a feel for how to hit the ball by breaking it down into three parts. First, swing with your right foot back, then your left, and finally, with both feet together.
