Practice swinging with a baseball bat. The way the bat stands up, levels out, and the timing of how you change directions is very similar to a golf swing.
Draw a dot on the center of your clubface. Concentrate on putting that dot on the back of the ball, and you'll make great shots.
To get great results on the golf course, focus on impact and follow-through, not your backswing.
Be consistent with your tempo. Make a swing with your favorite iron, find your tempo, and then use the same with your driver.
