The golf swing is very similar if not close to an exact duplicate too many sports. The way you hit a ping pong ball or a forehand in tennis. Swing a baseball bat or a Hockey stick. The golf swing follows the same motion. The racket or bat or club swings back on one arch and down on a lower arch. It is a loop to the inside of the take away or target line in golf. There is a shallowing out of the club from the backswing to the downswing arch in most all sports. So use your tennis racket. Make a few forehand swings. Then take your golf club and copy the motion.
