Set up to the ball. Move your trail hand down on the club shaft below the grip, so there is a space between your lead hand and your trail hand. You are now holding the club like a hockey stick. Make a backswing. This will naturally make your wrists lever. Then swing back to the ball. The handle has to swing in towards your body instead of out and away from you. Rehinge the club on the follow-through. You can do this and hit the ball at slow speeds. It gives you an excellent feel for how your arms and wrists work in the swing.
Set three or four balls on the green with lines around the ball. Set up to the ball. Align the line on the putter, if you have one, with the line on the ball.
