To get great results on the golf course, focus on impact and follow-through, not your backswing.
Pointing the handle away on the backswing and the follow-through is a great drill to get the club to accelerate through the ball.
Be consistent with your tempo. Make a swing with your favorite iron, find your tempo, and then use the same with your driver.
If your hands and arms are too tight, do the opposite and hinge your wrists quickly. By exaggerating and finding the middle ground, you will improve your swing.
