When you are practicing make sure that you start out with small swings at slow speeds. Then gradually add more swing length and more push away for acceleration through the ball. Then go to a longer club. Try your driver. But as you lengthen the club start also slowing the swing down. Then reintroduce speed. If you can not control the club then back the speed and swing length down. Then gradually build it back up. .
On the range players tend to hit ball way to quickly. There is a place and time for repetition. But if you want to see where you are in the game relative to playing.
