Start with small swings, maybe using just your trail arm. As you swing the club into the ball, the lead hip socket should move farther away from the ball or the target line. That is done with the lead leg pushing it away, not just straightening, learning to sync out these two motions. The club through the ball and the hip moving away happens in all shots. Start slow, then add speed and both hands. The same timing for the short shots is what happens with the big clubs.
