Start with your golf swing if you want to shape up your game. The L to L drill is a great exercise to get your swing going.
First, drop your right foot back and swing at the ball, creating an “L” with your arms and club on your backswing and a reverse “L” on the follow-through.
Most people struggle with this because their body wants to go when they start, and they can’t get back when they swing.
This drill gets the lever system working and stops the chest from pulling the club through the ball.
Again, practice swinging L to L. You should be able to do this drill smoothly. You need to be able to master this because it helps you develop the skills required for a big full swing.
